Conditions
1. General
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the NITARA (仁多良) website and purchase of our products. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. NITARA is operated by Nitara Ozawa, Kyōto, Japan.
2. Products
All garments are handmade in our Kyōto atelier. Colours may vary slightly from screen to cloth — natural and washi-blend fabrics develop character over time. We consider this a feature, not a defect.
Prices are shown in Japanese Yen (¥). Consumption tax (10%) is included in all displayed prices.
3. Orders and Payment
An order confirmation email confirms receipt. A second email confirms dispatch. We reserve the right to cancel orders in the event of stock issues or payment failure, with a full refund.
Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Konbini payment (Japan only).
4. Shipping
- Japan domestic: Japan Post EMS (2–5 days) or Sagawa 飛脚便 (1–3 days)
- International: EMS International (5–10 days) or DHL Express (3–6 days)
- Free Japan domestic shipping on orders ¥40,000 and above
- Import duties and taxes for international orders are the buyer's responsibility
5. Returns and Exchanges
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for unworn, unaltered garments in original condition. Contact us at hello@nitarwclothing.shop before returning. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the item is faulty.
Bespoke, altered, or personalised items are non-returnable. Final sale items are clearly marked.
6. Lifetime Repairs
We repair NITARA garments free of charge, for life. Bring or send the garment to our Kyōto atelier. The customer covers shipping both ways. We do not repair garments altered by third parties.
7. Intellectual Property
All text, images, and design on this website are the property of NITARA. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
NITARA's liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Japanese law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kyōto District Court.
